Job Title: Accounting/Office Manager
Hiring Manager: Chris Carmichael
The Accounting/Office Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Review and develop internal financial controls to ensure integrity of financial data, protection of assets, and adherence of corporate policies
• Drive continuous improvements of accounting-related processes
• Responsible for day to day management of all accounting transactions
• Manage bi-weekly payroll processes
• Adhoc financial analysis to support management's decision making processes
• Managing and participating in the month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation.
• Developing cash flow projection models and managing the cash flow needs of the company
• Periodic general ledger account analysis, sub-ledger reconciliations, adjusting entries as required.
• Oversight of fixed assets accounting
• Internal and external audit coordination
• Special projects and analysis, as required
• Hiring, training and supervision of office department staff
Requirements
• Bachelor of Accounting
• Advanced technical skills including Microsoft Excel
• Minimum 4 years experience (Public or Private)
