In 1964, a small family-owned business opened its doors in Amsterdam, NY. Alpin Haus started a ski shop with one full-time employee and a handful of helpers.
Over nearly six decades later, Alpin Haus has grown into an outdoor recreation powerhouse with six locations in Amsterdam, Saratoga, Clifton Park, Port Jervis and Oak Ridge, NJ. Alpin Haus offers customers a full-line of RVs, snowmobiles, skis and snowboards, boats, pools, and hot tubs, with service, parts and apparel for all your seasonal needs.
Today, Alpin Haus is still family-owned, and is one of the leading outdoor recreational retailers in the Northeast that employs over 250 people across our six locations.
