The Alpin Haus Story: Fun, Connection, and Memories!
In 1964, friends and business partners Bud Heck and John Daly took a leap of faith with their passion and started a small, family-owned ski shop, named Alpin Haus, in Amsterdam, NY. Alpin Haus started as a ski shop with one full time employee and a handful of helpers.
Quickly, Bud and John realized the potential of their passion for the outdoors and decided to dive into RVs, snowmobiles, and pools. From there on, Alpin Haus turned into a full-on outdoor recreation supplier, providing RVs, boats, snowmobiles, skis and snowboards, pools, hot tubs, and most importantly, memories that last a lifetime!
Throughout the years, one thing always stood out to our family; helping the community create memories through connection and fun. To this day, Alpin Haus is driven on building relationships with everyone throughout New York and New Jersey areas, and bringing that same passion for fun that Bud and John had originally, and sharing it with every community we step foot in!
