In 1964, a small family-owned business opened its doors in Amsterdam, NY. Alpin Haus started a ski shop with one full-time employee and a handful of helpers.
Over six decades later, Alpin Haus has grown into an outdoor recreation powerhouse with seven locations in Amsterdam (2), Orange County, Latham, Saratoga, Clifton Park, and Oak Ridge, NJ. Alpin Haus offers customers a full-line of RVs, snowmobiles, skis and snowboards, boats, pools, and spas, with service, parts and apparel for all your seasonal needs.
Today, Alpin Haus is still family-owned, and is one of the leading outdoor recreational retailers in the Northeast that employs over 300 people across our six locations.
