4 of Our Favorite New Ski Lines Releasing in Winter 2025
Since we’re on the downhill slope, heading straight towards winter, we figured it’s a great time to take a peek at what’s up with new ski gear for this season! Every year we get stockpiled with new releases from the top ski brands, and this year is no different. Brands like Blizzard, Nordica, and Stöckli all have something to talk about. From new innovations that’ll keep you shredding, to fresh designs that’ll pop off on the slopes, we’re here to show it all. Here are the ski models and tech we’re most excited to use this season:
1. Blizzard Stormbird
Searching for a frontside ski that feels alive under your feet, and keeps your energy high? The Blizzard team has done it again, this time with the all-new Blizzard Stormbird line that’s built for just that.
With a metal construction, vibration control, and TrueBlend Piste woodcore, it delivers a smooth, responsive ride that makes every turn feel sure and effortless on any terrain. Early-rise tips make that turn initiation effortless, while full camber keeps you locked in on edge. From intermediate skiers cruising around to experts ripping through various terrain, the Stormbird keeps up without demanding perfection. We love this ski for these exact reasons.
2. Atomic Bent 90 & 100
The Bent 90 is considered Atomic’s “Swiss Army knife” and for good reason. It’s light, quick, and ridiculously versatile. “HRZN” Tech, which features a beveled tip and tail, allows you to hit the pow all morning and still have energy left to get on rails and jumps in the park all afternoon. The Light Woodcore keeps it snappy underfoot and the beefed-up Resist Edges are built to take a beating, whether you’re sliding rails or slashing side hits. Narrower than the big Bent Chetler 120, the Bent 90 still brings the same creative, playful vibe that defines the whole Bent family. With topsheet and base art by Chris Benchetler, the steeze will be flowing heavy when ripping these!
When Atomic says the Bent 100 can do it all, they mean it. It’s playful enough for the park, floaty enough for pow, and solid enough to carve groomers with confidence. A reworked Light Woodcore and Powder Rocker (with a little extra tail rocker for more pop and smoother switch transitions) make it feel lively and easy to maneuver in any condition. The HRZN 3D tip adds extra lift in soft snow while Dura Cap Sidewalls and a reinforced Resist Edge keep it tough and grippy on hardpack or rails. From freeride laps to freestyle sessions, this ski just feels at home everywhere. If you want an everything ski, this is your guy right here.
3. Stöckli Laser SC & MP
The Stöckli Laser SC brings a smooth and lively feel to every run. It’s built for skiers who enjoy carving clean turns on groomers and want a ski that feels sporty, agile, and playful without being exhausting. The Laser SC grips confidently on hardpack and rolls from edge to edge with effortless precision. From short slalom-style turns to long sweeping carves, this ski delivers the kind of control and stability that makes every lap feel polished and fun, for any and all skiers.
The Stöckli Laser MP is made for women who want a ski that feels light, quick, and packed with precision. With a narrow 67 mm waist and a design built for short to medium turns, it carves groomers with ease and confidence. The lighter core, softer flex, and thinner metal edges are tuned specifically for our women skiers, delivering smooth agility without sacrificing stability or edge grip. It is a balanced, responsive ski that makes every turn feel sharp and effortless.
Something rad that’s found in both products is a flex torsion control feature, which implements an S-shaped notch on both ends of the ski, giving it softer flex and torsion. For you, that makes turning way easier to initiate and control.
4. Elan Wingman (M) & Wildcat (F) 83C
The Wildcat for women, and the Wingman for men, are built for skiers who want it all without overthinking it. Light, lively, and so much fun, they’ll carve clean arcs on early morning corduroy, then dance through late-day bumps without missing a beat.
Both models feature Elan’s Power Line Technology, which strategically positions layers of reinforcement into the core of each ski. This tech ensures that the edge grip is solid, the handling is smooth, and the ride stays playful from first chair to last lap. The liveliness and energy coming from these will translate straight to the slopes! Whether it’s the Wildcat or the Wingman under your boots, you’re set for a full day of resort adventure with skis that keep up wherever the mountain takes you.
These lines all speak to us as skiers, as they feature the top new innovations and tech in the ski industry! You can find each of these lines at your local Alpin Haus Ski Shop location this winter, and trust us, you will find that they live up to the hype. We’ll see you soon!
